Telemedicine is fully regulated in Brazil under Law 14.510/2022 and the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) Resolution 2.314/2022. A doctor with an active licence (CRM) may consult patients by video, including foreign visitors and tourists who are in Brazil. You do not need to be a resident or hold a Brazilian ID (CPF) for a private online consultation.

Are online prescriptions valid?
